What's actually in the product

Built around how a flight school actually runs a day

Every screen below reflects a real module in the platform: the same fields, the same states, the same data other roles see. Nothing here is a mockup of a plan.

Scheduling

Bookings that check for real conflicts, not just double-clicks

Every booking is checked against aircraft availability, instructor availability, student availability, and any scheduled maintenance window before it saves, not after someone shows up to a grounded airplane.

Recurring lesson blocks, solo endorsements, and cross-country bookings all use the same conflict engine, so there is one source of truth for what the fleet is actually doing.

Dispatch

A dispatch board that updates itself

Flight status moves through scheduled, dispatched, and returned in real time over a WebSocket connection. Dispatch, the instructor in the airplane, and maintenance on the ramp all see the same board at the same moment.

No refreshing, no radio call just to update a whiteboard, no phone tag to find out an airplane is back.

Maintenance

Airworthiness tracking that grounds aircraft automatically

100-hour and annual inspections, airworthiness timers, and open work orders are tracked per tail number. Grounding an aircraft pulls it from bookable availability automatically and opens a maintenance work order for review.

Maintenance crew get a work order queue; everyone else just sees an aircraft that quietly stops showing up as available.

Flight hour logger

The numbers a school owner actually watches

Utilization, revenue, and fleet activity roll up automatically from every booking, flight, and invoice, so the owner sees how the school is doing without exporting anything.

Flight hours also accrue automatically toward each student's certificate as flights are checked in, so progress is never reconstructed from a paper logbook.

Payments

Billing built in, from Hobbs time to the invoice

Checking a flight in bills the Hobbs time at the aircraft's rate automatically. Students keep a prepaid balance that flight charges draw from, or pay any invoice by card through Stripe. Schools connect their own Stripe account, so payments land directly with them.

Every invoice carries the school's business details and is viewable and printable, next to the flight it was for, not in a separate spreadsheet reconciled at month-end.

Extensions

Grow into it: extensions, not a rebuild

AI-assisted scheduling, compliance automation, student CRM, and utilization-based dynamic pricing sit on top of the same data every other module already uses. Turn one on when you need it; nothing migrates, nothing forks.
